Pipe looks cool on the 450r. Are your bikes tires salvagble? How much for rims?

I took them to a shop in town and they are toast. Last time I checked it was around 330 per rim from service honda.  Tires are ok though, thank god thier brand new.

Tried straitening my rims last weekend.... CRACK  Figures, cast aluminum.   Well, if it dry this weekend Pete, should we bring the YFZ up to the cabin and we can tear it up a bit, mabey clear some trees to start the track?  Need to test out the logging capabilities of the Eiger, should do fairly well.   I have plans for a nice step-up  (like a table top but going up hill so you can come up short and not get dead) going up the hill just to the right of the old driveway, hit a 180* burm and go back down the hill to some more stuff.  I really want to get it going since then we will also have something else to do up there.

$700 for a set of wheels definitely isn't cheap but it's not like the bike isn't worth it. I had mine out tonight and i'd have to say i wish i bought one sooner. Iwent back and forth about it all last summer and finally decided to just go out and buy a new one and i'm glad i did.

pics and video from this weekend.  We built some small jumps, and I"m sore today from digging and riding.

I also realized I used the wrong setting on my camera in taking the pictures, so the shutter speed wasnt fast enough and alot of the pics are blurry.  Note to self, use the sports mode next time.

Thats awesome. I'd love to have a little track like that to play on. Maybe if you get it all done we could be persuaded to come out to the cabin....

Chris is talking about renting a bobcat for the weekend....but we need to get out there with some chainsaws and do a little clearing first.  Next weekend is Easter, so maybe the weekend after.
