Oh god hear we go AGAIN. Well, Ill be taking two trips during the summer for ATV's.... SL and IDaho. During the winter I take two trips for snowmobiling, one in Dec/jan, and one in march. Seems pretty equal to me, and as far as time off, Im lucky to be getting that with only working there for not even a year so far.

well you can too! No offense, but I feel you may be a little too sensitive regarding work/vacation. Everyone takes vacation, and is entitled to, in fact it makes workers more productive. If we were to plan it now, and you gave them what...7 months of advanced notice, it would be crazy for them to have a problem for it.

My work isn't very vacation friendly either since when i leave my boss actually has to turn a wrench instead standing there watching me do it bitching about everyone else. I got over it and take off when i have to. It is different for me though since i've been there 6 years.
I'm only planning on taking off thursday friday. Drive down thursday, ride friday and saturday, drive back sunday. I hope for your sake it's not that difficult to get 2 days. I can understand a week, but 2 days? They're being rediculous

But when you have worked there for around a year by the time we go on the trip... that would be almost 4 weeks off! As of right now im at around 3 weeks of vacation time that I have had. Its not the fact that they are going to tell me "no, absolutley not" Its the fact that, If I look like im taking too much vacation time they may say, "this kids being lazy and going on vacation every 2 months for a week at a time" I kinda like to have my work wanting me around, if they dont want me around theres no reason for them to start paying me more. Also, what If i needed a day off for something important but not an emergency, they might say "why, you already have had so much vacation"
As I said, I dont know if I will be able to go, but we will see. I never said "no im not going". Its not like I dont want to go. Its not like I can really go "GAY" snowmobiling that time of the year anyways.
Im just being carefull as far as what I ask from my work, I dont want to abuse the fact that they are so nice and willing with vacation.

Youd think working the 70 hour weeks that you do would show them that you arent lazy? If they want you to continue working 70 + hour weeks they should realize that youll need some vacation.
