Quote from: "im_vin_bitch"
Except they have a ProBowl QB, a horse for a RB, and at least one WR that can catch anything.  Not to mention Pro Bowlers on D plus a track record of being competitive in a very good division.

Yeah.... slightly different story.

Pete, you're an ass :)

just to put a Clint spin on this...

a Pro Bowl QB who is still recovering from tearing all 3 ligaments in his knee, who prior to his injury had thrown only 6 touchdowns, and 12 interceptions in 216 attempts for a measly 72 quarterback rating on the year while leading the team to a 2-5 record, a 'stud' of a running back who is basically an un proven rookie, and a 5 foot 11 inch wide receiver who has thrived by being overlooked and thrown to way too many times because the Dolphins are always behind and playing catchup.

Zach Thomas is pretty good though, even if he is as crazy as a loon.  He'll probably head-butt a referee and be suspended.

Good response Pete.  I still more real talent on the Phins.  Barring injury, Daunte is a very talented QB.  Ronnie Brown did very well his first season, especially splitting carries at times, and Chris Chambers and Marty Booker are both very good WRs.

I think the Vikings will win games by playing errorless football and letting their defense dictate the game, while the Dophins have the potential to be a much more complete football team.  Of course, Daunte could fumble 62 times, Chris Chambers could do cocaine, and Ronnie Brown and Zach Taylor could kill each other too!

I may watch more overall football this year, but it'll be hard since the Vikings won't be the team of choice I'll want to watch.  I'd like to see the Dophins, Redskins, 49ers, and Bears.... though I think I may be able to see quite a few of their games.

I don't see how the Dolphins are that much better than the Vikings.  The Vikes defense has plenty of studs on it.  The Williams boys playing DT are arguably the best pair in the league.  Udeze and James give the line a chance at being one of the better lines in football, provided they stay healthy.  The secondary should be very solid with Winfield, Smoot, Sharper and the addition of Dwight Smith.  I really think this defense is going to be tough, just like they were the last 9 games of last season when they weren't playing in the other teams red zone all the time.  It will be interesting to see how Daunte does this year.  Sure, Chambers is pretty good, but he came from Wisconsin so he can't be that good, right?  Ronnie Brown played well last year, but he hasn't proven anything yet.  Lets not forget that Daunte is learning a new system and recovering from a major injury like Pete mentioned.  I would also like to note that last year, the only good team in Miami's division was the Patriots.  The Dolphins were able to finish 9-7 and were the second best team in that division with Buffalo and NYJ finishing 5-11 and 4-12 respectively.  The year before, the Dolphins were 4-12.

I just think we need to have a positive outlook on things here.  Besides, the focus of this topic was supposed to be Koren Robinson and his love of the sauce; not the Vikings and whether or not they are going to compete this year.  Please keep the negativity to yourself.  Thanks.

Why would I be winded?  The nickname is Cheif Long Wind, not Cheif No Wind.  LOL  Although, right now, either one would be appropriate.

Good point Dusty. My assumption was clearly incorrect.  Carry on Chief.

I believe the dolphins won their last 5 games?  And they didnt have squat for a QB.  Not bad for saban's first year.
