I don't think they can stay with the Spurs and the best player on the planet, big TD. Pistons are damn good, but the Spurs got it all and play some hella D. Maybe it won't be over so quick... but we'll see!!!!!

I'd rather see the Pistons win than gay Tim Duncan. Hopefully then can put him down like they put Gay-Fu down. I don't plan on watching any of the games anyway..

It puzzles me that they dont get rasheed the ball more. They are 8-0 in the playoffs when hes scored 20+. Rip couldnt make shit for a basket lastnight, and it wasnt because of bowens defense. It also seems like ben wallace is becoming more of a crybaby then a tenacious player like he normally is. I havent seen the real ben wallace since the indy series.
And lets talk about mcdyess off the bench. 2 points off the bench from mcdyess, hunter, and arroyo isnt going to cut it.

Is it that they don't get Sheed the ball enough or he doens't want or take advantage of it? he's never liked to be the go-to-guy, so maybe that's the plan. TD is the best player on the planet yo, how can you hate in that brutha? shaq is gayer than one-titted supermodel.... good riddance

You put KG on the Spurs instead of Duncan and they'd have never won a thing. You put TD on the Wolves and they'd have championships by now. KG is good and all, but all the stats in the world aint gonna get him a ring. Just a matter of opinion of course. I'd take Ben Wallace instead of KG any day to build a team around. An inside game is WAY more important than having a 7 footer who thinks he's a guard. He can bring everything else in the world, but he aint gonna bring championships like TD.
I wish damn Sheed had that killer instinct bro. If he had it, he could be the best PF in the game.

your boy Gay Fu brings championships, not Tim Duncan. I can't wait until the next overweight 7 footer comes into the league, and starts playing for either LA or New York. The gay refs will let the assclown get away with murder. The NBA sucks.

Can't argue that. I don't think LA will have another shaq will Kobe in town. i'd like to see LA get a player like Ben Wallace... take some heat off Lamar and get an inside defensive presence.

He hasnt had a game worth mentioning since the indiana series. Youd take ben wallace over KG to build a team, youve bumped your head. Give KG tony parker, ginobli, and bowen over cassell, sprewell (both past their prime) and wally and youd see championships. So far, the only championships TD has been apart of has been with David Robinson. So i wouldnt say he "brings" championships. What happened to the lakers winning 50 games this year?

Didn't happen, can't argue that, but they'll be back.
I don't want to get into a pissing match over KG and TD, but I certainly don't think TDs teams of the past were any better than what the Wolves were brining. This year is a different story for sure. The Spurs are tight and anybody not giving Ginobli his dues is a fag. Regardless, KG is a stat monger and nothing more. He needs MUCH more help to win games than TD. TD can take over a game, you can continually feed him and if you need a buck down the stretch, he won't be shooting a fadaway. As much as I disliked him in the past, he's a tremendous low-post presence, something KG aint. First and foremost, to win championship (not just getting into the playoffs), you need a consistent low-post game. Well, unless you have Michael Jordan ;)
Bah, time to play some KOTOR2... oh wait, I'm at work... shit, this sucks.

rofl take Ben Wallace over KG? I'm a pistons fan thru and thru and I think you have bumped your head. KG is so good because is an awesome post up player and can also shoot a jump shot...I compare him to 'sheed in a lot of aspects but sheed does not have a lot of confidence in his game otherwise he would say FEED ME THE ROCK AND LET ME SCORE.
The obvious keys to the Pistons beating the Spurs is containing the faggy Nigobili and that French Fart parker....Duncan will always get his points and rebounds, cant really deny him that. They are barely contesting the guards shots..... Horry? lmfao game 2 was some kind of miracle for his cobweb farting ass... Fuck man, I could make those WIDE OPEN jump shots....I'd only expect Bowen and Nigobili to make those shots...I'd let bowen sit on that 3 line all fucking day because his offense isnt worth a shit. He will miss them, its about a 50/50 chance and we could use the extra body on TD or the guards... anybody catch how Nigobili was guarding Rip? I think he wanted his wang... I think the refs are a huge fucking joke all series long...Spurs can drive all day long and draw fouls, Detriot does the same and no foul...hmmm
The haters can shut there pie holes about detriot having a weak bench...Dyess does exactly what he is suppose to do and did his job fanstically well in game 2. Hunter plays stout ass defense and is always creates some kind of spark...Arroyo's game is coming around as well. All in all I think the pistons are still in it, they were getting great looks but the shots just werent falling..they also need a more productive game from Prince....Big ben isnt playing worth a bent dick either... Expect to see some of the shots u were seeing in san antonio go in tonight, the pistons always play better at home. As do the spurs, detriot has lost the last 10 games...8 regular season and 2 playoffs in san antonio..
this is the longest post i've ever made on a messageboard of any kind.
who the fuck are you vin?

I wish damn Sheed had that killer instinct bro. If he had it, he could be the best PF in the game. lol..... KG is so much better of an all around player than Duncan. If the pistons had KG, it wouldnt work either....the teams chemistry wouldnt match with KG because he would be a ball hog like Iverson (ok maybe not as bad) Ben doesnt really have an inside game dood.....he cant shoot jump shots, free throws, or even layups. sometimes he misses dunks...hes also not manning the boards like we are use to either..hes not playing good basketball right now, period. All hes good for right now is his intensity...watch him get a dunk tonight and go nuts. I want to see him hit a 3!!!! Sheed doesnt really need the killer instinct, he is already considered one of the best PFs in the game. He is always mismatched with someone but the pistons never capitalize on it. Sheed has become an animal at the 3 point line which opens up a whole different way to guard him and protect the basket at the same time!

KG is NOT a post up player. He's a wannabe SG. He can't score when he needs to, and he doesn't have a consistent jumper where he thinks he does.
Duncan can get fed the ball and score over and over and over. TD stretches the defense because he DOES play in the post and allows the real shooters to play on the perimeter. You can say all you want about TD not being as well of an all-around player, but he's better than KG any day of the year. I'm sorry, but 7 foot PFs who think they play on the perimeter does not a good building block make. You build a winning team with one great guard and one great low post thread. Having your best player play PF and shoot jumpers and run the offense half the time is not how you win championships, period. The formula doesn't mix.
Crunch all the stats you want, but KG isn't how you build championships. If you've got 2 minutes and your down 4, who do you want, KG or TD? You want TD, and he's gonna deliver.
I'll take Ben Wallace as a building block ANY day because it's hard to find a tough-nosed defender who WON'T demand the ball, and will rebound and play tenacious D and NOT want 20 million a year. To financially put all the pieces together, I'd start with Ben Wallace and go from there, rather than giving a player that's hard to mix with other players to win a championship, like KG. I'm sorry, he's a fantastic player, but again, tweener's are hard to build a franchise around. A strong, dependable, low-post game is number one when building a team. The exception is having Michael Jordan... lol...

Finally got to see some DETROIT BASKETBALL. Big ben set the tone with 5 blocks in the 1st quarter. I loved that block he had on duncan. It was nice to see Rasheed score 4 early points. He missed a couple of easy ones but oh well. I wish theyd feed him the ball more. He stayed in the paint early, which is good.
Larry brown needs to tell him that he needs to score atleast 10 points in the paint/post before he can take a 3. I love it when he gets rolling...its great watcing him talk trash to the defender. I just wish theyd give him the ball more. I also think hes put himself in a bad spot with the refs....he gets fouled a lot and they arent called. I guess its karma.
