Chris and Dusty:  what would you guys think about leaving on Monday, July 5th, and leaving for home Saturday night the 10th or Sunday morning the 11th?  That way we are home for the 4th of July and all festivities, yet can meet up and ride with DWade for a few days?

Hey guys,

As of right now, I am not planning on going this year.  I know that might suck for the 2 of you if you still go since you wouldn't have a 3rd guy to split gas and what not, but I really want to do some other things this summer and I also need to make sure I get my finances in order so that I can replace the shitty windows in my house this year so that I can take advantage of the tax credit before they take that away.  This trip, especially since it isn't a big group thing like it has been in the past, I have basically decided to sacrifice.  :(

I don't really care a whole lot about the 4th, I would rather leave on sat. So I could ride for a full week.   We'll see.

well we probably need to make campground reservations stat.  It would just be you and me (unless someone wanted to come and borrow Dusty's bike?).  I'd probably have to leave the Banshee home since we'd fill the bed with our stuff, and put the 2 four strokes on my trailer.

If we left Monday morning, and came home Sunday morning, that would be the same time wise as all of our other trips except last year.  I think 5-6 days of riding is PLENTY.

Well, put me down for it.   I can't imagine not riding in some killer dunes atlest once a year.  I should be duning it atleast twice if not more.

The more I think about this, the more I can't wait.  Looking at the pics from years past just reminded me of how awesome it is out there.  When I get back from Michigan next week, get on my case about reserving a camp site at the Oasis.

I went to look at camp sites at Desert Oasis tonight, and I see they are under new ownership as of March 10th, 2010      Christ, I liked the last ownership!
